Are Wireless Earbuds Worth It ? [ Know the TRUTH ]

I’ve always disliked having my earbuds tangled up. But is wireless listening like Apple AirPods really worth your money? It’s the newest tech craze that has everyone excited, and for good reason! No more tangles-you’ll never have to untangle those wires again thanks in part to this new invention from Steve Jobs himself: The Wireless Ear Buds

A recent study found out people want something different these days from their technology; they’re looking towards simpler solutions with fewer buttons on them so as not distractions when trying to get work done at home or on our phones while running errands

There’s no doubt that wireless earbuds are all the rage right now. But are they worth the high price tags?

For the most part, we think not. Here’s why:

1. Most wireless earbuds are expensive.

For example, Apple’s AirPods cost $159.99. That’s a lot of money for something that might not work well. The AirPods may be a good investment for some people, but they’re probably not for everyone. especially when worn wire-free around our necks when not in use or while sleeping!

2. Some wireless earbuds require charging.

This can prove to be annoying if you want to listen to music on your way to work in the morning but forget to charge them the night before. Having to bring that annoying charging cable around with you everywhere you go will probably get old fast. Or maybe they’ll run out of battery halfway through the day and you’ll have no choice but use wired headphones instead during these times.

3. Some are very easy to lose –

wireless earbuds are small and can get misplaced easily. This means you’ll probably be spending more money to buy replacements than with wired headphones. If you lose one, not only will it cost you extra money, but you’ll also have an incomplete pair of wireless earbuds. Such a waste.

4. Wireless earbuds aren’t durable compared to regular wired ones .

One Drop Test video showed us just how fragile these new tech accessories can be when placed under pressure: The AirPods were shown unable to endure everyday wear and tear from the owner’s keys in his pocket after being worn during an entire day at work. In contrast, other wired headphones like the Bose QuietComfort 35 II, which costs $50 more than the AirPods according to Business Insider, can withstand drops and falls without any damage. Plus they’re offered with an industry-leading warranty of up to 4 years!

5 . They Can Be Annoying To Use

Since wireless earbuds are still a relatively new invention, companies have been struggling to find the best way to make them truly wireless. This usually means having to deal with some sort of annoying cord or adapter hanging from your ear. And if you’re not careful, you might even end up yanking out your earbuds when pulling your phone out of your pocket!

This may seem like a small issue, but when you’re trying to be productive in a crowded office environment and can’t hear your music or podcast over all the background noise it’s a real problem.

In contrast, wired earbuds don’t have this problem since they stick directly into your ear canal without anything dangling from your neck. And if you do happen to yank them out of your ears they won’t fall completely off  your ears because there’s nothing to pull them away from your head!

6 . Wireless earbuds aren’t suitable for athletes:

Most wireless earbuds are too fragile for workouts and activities that require a lot of movement. Wired headphones, on the other hand, are more durable and can handle activities like running and working out without any issues.

7 . Wired earbuds often come with a higher sound quality

Most wired headphones offer a wider range of frequencies and lower bass compared to wireless earbuds. And if you really want something that sounds great, we recommend getting wired over-ear headphones instead.

8 . Some people just don’t like the idea of having to take their phone out:

every time they want to switch songs or adjust the volume. This is another reason why many audiophiles prefer using wired headphones since it allows them to control songs directly from the device without taking them out of their pockets while on the go!

9 . Wired headphones are more affordable…

As mentioned previously, wired headphones aren’t nearly as expensive as wireless ones. If you’re on a budget, getting wired earbuds will be far more affordable for you than wireless ones. You can get a decent pair of wired over-ear headphones for less than $50 while high-end wireless earbuds usually cost between $150 and even $200!

10 . And lastly, some people just prefer the sleek design of the regular wired headphones.

over that awkward feeling of Bluetooth or cordless headphone sets: Wired earbuds give you the opportunity to create your own style and customize them in your favorite color without having to worry about charging them. Plus they’re way smaller and lighter than typical wireless headgear so this makes them perfect if you’re always on the go!

FINAL VERDICT

Overall, we think that wireless earbuds are overpriced and not worth the money. If you’re looking for a quality pair of headphones to use while working out, we recommend sticking with wired headphones instead. They may not be as flashy or new as wireless earbuds, but they’ll get the job done better and last longer.
